Spring at Bordeaux reveals the UNESCO city's magic. From April to June, temperatures from 14°C to 22°C, city coming alive, blooming gardens, open terraces. May-June offer the perfect equation: Cité du Vin, museums (CAPC, Aquitaine), starred gastronomy, and vineyards 30 minutes away. Rivage villas in the vineyard or in town offer their best rates.
Summer at Bordeaux is festive but demands heat strategy (28-35°C). Favour morning visits, evenings on the Miroir d'Eau terraces, air-conditioned cellar coolness. Bordeaux Wine Festival (biennial, June) attracts the wine world. Villas with pools offer essential comfort.
Autumn anoints Bordeaux as a major cultural and gastronomic destination. September-October offer harvests, golden light, thinning crowds. Rare combination: UNESCO city + vineyards + gastronomy + culture. Rivage villas offer an exceptional setting.
Winter at Bordeaux is a gourmet season. Christmas markets, starred restaurants in peak form, private cellar tastings, black truffle. Less photogenic city in rain but authentic. Villas with fireplaces recommended.
