Privacy Policy

Discretion is central to the way we work. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you hold over it.

Information we collect

When you register or book with Rivage, we collect the information you provide directly — name, contact details, dates of travel, guest composition, payment details — as well as the technical information your browser shares when interacting with our site.

How we use it

Your information is used to respond to enquiries, process bookings, coordinate with owners and on-site staff, and improve our service. We will write to you only about matters directly related to your relationship with Rivage unless you have specifically opted in to our editorial despatches.

Sharing

Rivage does not sell or rent personal data. Information is shared only with the property owner and on-site staff for the purposes of a specific booking, and with trusted processors (payment, email delivery) under written contract.

Your rights

Under the European GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Write to privacy@rivage.co to exercise any of these rights.

Retention

We retain booking records for the period required by French accounting and tax law (typically ten years). Marketing preferences may be retained until you ask us to delete them.

This document is a working draft and will be kept current as our practices evolve.
